About The Plug
Coming Soon...
The Plug will launch Spring 2025 and will be a professional social networking platform that connects teens ages 13-18 to career exposure and immersive learning experiences. We will host virtual career advising sessions, share postsecondary preparation resources, and connect teens to shadowing and internship opportunities in a variety of creative and tech career fields. We know that our next generation must be equipped with skills and a network of mentors to truly have a shot at success, so that’s how we will plug our students into their future.
Summer Internship 2025
We are hosting our first Summer Internship program for rising high school Juniors and Seniors in Atlanta, GA. Students who are interested in learning more about careers in creative and STEM fields will be supported in learning work-ready skills to be prepared to assist a small business.
Summer Internship Program :
December 5, 2024 – Intern Host Info Session @ The Gathering Spot
February 3-7, 2025 – Small Business Meet & Greet @ Local Schools + Student Internship Prep Training
March 18-21, 2025 – Atlanta Public Schools College and Career Week – Lecture Series @ local schools + Student Internship Prep Training
April 2025 TBD- Internship Fair @ The Gathering Spot
June 2025- Internship Starts
July 2025 – Internship Ends
